Your dog requires a bath and grooming. Or a whole new chew toy. Or food or doggie treats. Or possibly a new collar or bandana. Precisely the same to your cat.

You don’t have to leave Barrington anymore to locate the suggestions above. Style Unleashed, a new pet boutique and grooming salon, has opened at 232 Waseca Ave.

Karen (Andreozzi) Lynch, with deep Barrington roots, is definitely the proprietor. Pat Ryan, the former owner of the Shaggy grooming your dog salon in Barrington, may be the groomer.

“I got her an extra shot,” said Lynch, who lives in Bristol, where she serves to the Bristol-Warren School Committee.

Lynch opened the boutique about four weeks ago. She opened the grooming salon about a fortnight later.

Before she opened, Lynch said, she traveled to some host of other boutiques “and told my story. They were very cooperative.”

Lynch said she opened in Barrington because of her roots cheap there is absolutely no similar business in the city.

“There isn’t any place else to visit,” she said.

Lynch, the master of two dogs herself, said: “I put things within the store I might buy. I picked everything for just a reason.”

Among her merchandise are three lines of canine, Wellness, Blue Buffalo and Canada. She also stocks organic products, such as Papa ‘pooch’ Minnelli brand.

And you may find almost everything you require for a pet, including a selection of carriers, toys, water bottles that dogs can drink from by themselves having a lick on the tongue, novelty collars and collars made of Italian leather and studded with crystals, beds and mats, and strollers.

Lynch also carries “Thunder shirts” for dogs, which swaddle them being a baby in soft cloth to combat off anxiety rather than medications

“I have sufficient samples,” said Lynch, who gives you treats with “report cards.”

Spa services include “The Neat and Shine”: wash, dry, brush, clean ears, trim nails and clean teeth. Rates vary from $25 to $40 depending on size and hair entire dog.

There’s even a Classic Cut, De-Matting, and also a la carte services for nail clipping, teeth and ear cleaning.

Lynch, who has degrees in decor and elementary education, worked in the household architectural business for many years before opting to open the boutique.
