The five new stores bring approximately 150 new jobs to Porterville.
PetSmart will hold a fantastic opening at 9 a.m. Saturday. The video store opened on Monday in this week.

“We are actually pretty pleased using the turnout,” said store manager Tyson Dewitt. “We’ve been busier than anticipated.”

The PetSmart opening need to be closely followed by the outlet of rue21. A person with rue21 declared that store will open Feb. 9. Fixtures are actually being placed in a store that’s located alongside Jambi Juice on the west end on the shopping mall.

Hawks said the Employment Connection has assisted T-Mobile in placing six individuals with that new store. The position office isn’t working together with rue21 or Famous Footwear.
Dewitt said PetSmart hired about 25 workers with the store.

PetSmart is really a full-line pet shop, including food, accessories and even small pets for sale.
